Too much dark

In discussion with the 4 and 7 year old, who are making a lot more noise than the average sleeping children...

Mammy: Why are you not in bed asleep?

4 y/o: Because we're trying to turn on the light.

Mammy: Why are you trying to do that?

4 y/o: Because there's a lot of dark and only a little bit of light.
